Noor Taj ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Tracky AI mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

Tracky AI uses Firebase, Google AdMob, and Gemini (Firebase AI) — each of which may collect certain data as described below. Your in-app content (product names, expiry dates, reminders) is stored locally on your device only.
        

1. Information We Collect

App Content Data

All content you enter into the App — product names, expiry dates, reminders, and subscription details — is stored locally on your device only. We do not upload or transmit this content to our servers.

Data Collected by Third-Party Services

The App currently integrates the following third-party services, each of which may collect data automatically:

Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google): Collects anonymous usage statistics including:
- App opens, session duration, and screen views
- Feature usage patterns
- Device type, OS version, and app version
- General location (country/city level — not precise GPS location)
- Crash reports and performance diagnostics
- A resettable advertising ID (used for analytics, not ads)
Google AdMob: Displays advertisements within the App and may collect:
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
- IP address and coarse location
- Device information (screen size, OS)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
- Interest-based profile data used to serve personalized ads
Gemini — Firebase AI (Google): Powers AI-assisted features within the App. This service:
- Processes prompts and responses in the cloud
- May use interaction data to improve Google's AI models unless you opt out via Google's AI data-use controls at myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy
- Does not store your app content (product names, dates) beyond the duration of the request

2. How We Use Your Information

We and our third-party partners use the collected data to:

Improve app functionality and fix bugs (Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics)
Display relevant advertisements to support free access to the App (Google AdMob)
Provide AI-powered features such as product scanning and smart suggestions (Gemini / Firebase AI)

3. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

All data you enter into Tracky AI is currently stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage mechanisms. We do not have access to this data.

Note: Google's free-tier AI services may use interaction data to improve their models. You can review and adjust this through your Google account settings.

These third-party services operate independently and have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them. We do not control how these third parties use data collected through their SDKs.

5. Children's Privacy

Tracky AI is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages.

Regarding advertising: The App uses Google AdMob for advertising. Google AdMob is configured to serve non-personalized ads only to users who have not confirmed they are 13 or older, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google's Families Policy. We do not allow interest-based advertising targeted at children.

Regarding AI features: AI-powered features (Gemini / Firebase AI) are not designed for or directed to children. If a child uses these features, prompts are processed in the same way as adult prompts but we do not intentionally collect or process children's data.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the App or provided personal information, please contact us at noort9773@gmail.com and we will take steps to remove any such information and prevent further collection.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

We currently share certain data with the following third parties as part of the App's operation:

Google (Firebase): Receives anonymous analytics, crash data, and device information as described in Section 1. This data is processed under Google's privacy policy.
Google (AdMob): Receives advertising identifiers, device info, and ad interaction data to serve advertisements. Google may use this data to build interest-based advertising profiles.
Google (Gemini / Firebase AI): Receives the content of AI feature requests (e.g., product scan queries) to generate responses. Google's free AI tier may retain this data for model improvement purposes unless opted out.

Your App Data

Since your app content (products, reminders, dates) is stored locally on your device, you can delete it by:

Uninstalling the App from your device
Using the "Delete All Data" option in App Settings (if available)

8. International Data Transfers

We are based in Pakistan. If we collect data in the future and you are located outside Pakistan, your information may be transferred to and processed in Pakistan or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The App does not currently use cookies. If we implement web-based features or advertising in the future, we may use cookies and similar tracking technologies. We will update this Privacy Policy accordingly and provide options to manage your preferences.

10. Push Notifications

Tracky AI uses push notifications to send you expiry reminders and alerts. These notifications are generated locally on your device and do not involve transmitting your data to our servers. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of any material changes by:

Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
